Looking For Community Involvement?

We are the Washington Township Volunteer Women’s Organization. We have been in town since 1985. Our group ranges from nurses to teachers and accountants who come together to help those in need.

Here is just a list of some of our plans for this year. Please think about how you would like to help out.

• Scholarships to WTHS students
• Sponsoring WT sports teams
• Raising funds for Margaret E Heggan Library
• Collecting items for Vineland Veteran’s Home
• Ronald McDonald House
• Baskets for Mother’s Matter
• Adopting a family for the holidays
• Supporting many charities like American Cancer Society, Gilda’s Clubs, Heifer Organization, Inmed
   

We also get together socially in February, May, July and August, meeting at members’ houses for theme parties or dinner at local restaurants. We meet every second Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at the Senior Center.

We are planning our first Ladies Day Out event on April 28th from
12 - 4 at the Senior Center on Greentree Road in Washington Township. There will be over 25 vendors, wine and food sampling, information about women’s health from Virtua, massages, beauty tips and so much more.
